This smart new handset comes with a sleek, compact design and works off the Android platform, enabling you to customise the device to your preferences. Available in a range of colours, the Android G2 features a 3.2†QVGA touch screen, a sliding QWERTY keyboard and one-handed trackball navigation options.
Web based features include support for POP3, IMAP, YouTube, Google Talk, Gmail, Google Maps and Google Search. This handset also includes touch-to-zoom functionality, one click contextual search and the ability to read a Web page and download e-mails simultaneously.
The Android G2 offers a 3 megapixel autofocus camera and pre-loaded music application developed by Amazon, providing access to more than 6 million MP3 tracks.
The phone is free of carrier software and ready for use on all Australian networks. Telstra NextG customers are only able to access the 2G and 3G services of their SIM with this device.
